Soft, thick and well covering, the JAIPUR headband is hand knitted in a textured stitch from reused wool.

🌿 It is made from fine, carefully selected balls of wool to offer you noble and luxurious materials: wool, alpaca, silk…
Once combined, these threads will give birth to a unique piece, with original color variations, which will become your favorite and soft winter companion.
💚 An approach that is both ecological, artistic and qualitative: my goal is to offer you accessories that have a story and that you will keep for a long time!

The headband is knitted seamlessly for perfect finishes, and in an elastic stitch which gives it good support and will allow it to adapt to all head sizes 🙂

🧶 COMPOSITION
alpaca (~60%), wool (~16%), acrylic (~12%), and silk (~12%)

I carefully select my knitting yarns, favoring natural materials.

Why natural fibers?
A natural fiber breathes! Which explains why wool can absorb up to 30% of its weight in water without getting wet… And what makes these fibers antibacterial, dirt-repellent and hygienic (they do not retain odors), but also thermoregulatory. They all have in common exceptional properties of warmth, insulation against cold and humidity, as well as durability, because they are designed to resist the elements.

🦙 This headband contains mainly alpaca wool, known for its many properties:
The alpaca is native to the Andes, high mountain plateaus where the temperature varies from one extreme to another. Alpaca wool is therefore an extremely resistant and warm fiber, in addition to being one of the softest materials available.

🛁 MAINTENANCE
For the maintenance of your headband, I recommend these few precautions which will allow it to maintain its beautiful appearance for a long time:
You can wash it by hand or in the machine on wool/delicate program max 30°C and gentle spin.
Air dry and lay flat.
